It is somewhat accepted that digital natives, those who grew up with 21st century technology, are great at multitasking. However, the research indicates that multitasking when applied to driving increases the risk of a collision and indeed can be deadly. If your driving school doesn’t include discussion about these dangers, walk don’t run to another school. The concept of how well people can multitask has received much press lately and teens actually believe they can effectively manage multiple, concurrent tasks in parallel. A new topic today is how driver’s ed programs incorporate issues related to focus and the dangers of assuming minimal levels of risk surrounding multitasking. First off, when people mention multitasking, most don’t even really understand the true meaning of the term. Along with multiprocessing, these terms come directly from the computer world and we have applied them to humans. Most driver training was developed before digital natives were born and has not kept up with the times. The human brain, according to research by people such as John Medina (see his book “Brain Rules”), is a uniprocessor and hence can only do one cognitive task at a time. In other words, humans can not truly perform multiple complex tasks in parallel regardless of how much we believe this is possible.

Honda vehicles are known for their reliability, quality parts and excellent gas mileage. Their ATV’s are no different. The Honda CV Joint
The Constant Velocity joint or the CV joint is a very important part of the ATV as it is essential in providing proper control and maneuverability. The axle assembly of a Honda model ATV is used to shift power from the transmission to the wheels. This is the place where the CV joint is located. It is part of a drive shaft that attaches to the ATV’s transmission at one end and the wheel at the other. They are designed to be able to bend in any direction while continuing to turn the drive wheels at a constant velocity.
Aggressive use of a Honda CV joint can wear it down and therefore it must either be repaired or replaced. However before it completely fails, there are signs that it is breaking down. One doesn’t have to be an expert mechanic to notice these indications. Here we will go over some of these symptoms. Fitting BMW Motorcycle
Since the launch of Dave Flood’s adjustable handlebar risers last month there have been a number of enquiries on how to fit them and was it hard and did you have to extend cables and wires and things.
Keep in mind the Dave Flood risers only fit a limited number of BMW Motorcycles. These are the K series 1200 and 1300 R and S models and the R1200S model.
Why only the K series
The reason for this is that these models have a yoke type head into which the left and right hand bars are clamped. In other words it is not a single bar right across but one straight bar for the left and one for the right each fitted into a central head. It is this central head and the position of the faring that makes it hard to design risers that can go more than a couple of inches. Mind you the factory length of the cables and brake line also restrict just how much rise you can get.
